Brief moment

Driving home tonight on the edge of a tornado. Saw lighting overhead and had to be home to  let my dog be free out of his crate. Was told not to drive but had I not made it home - I would still be in traffic -5 hours later.  We all live on the edge- we just chose which direction we want on the edge. Being safe isn't always the answer.

SOULS

I love shopping and sightseeing and old houses with history of who slept in the room before me. Saw a cementry as we were out walking and some of the tombstones went back to the 1600's. It made me think that as i was walking down the brick street another had walked down that street before me and there will be many after me. Souls of each of us touch each other in one way or another

CAMPING

There are several ways to camp- in a tent
in a cabin or like me at  a hotel without cable.

I am finding out that  my adult children love camping. Camping was from my youth and my early 20's,
I might find it entertaining now in my __________________only if involves  no bugs,no bears, no old people!

Goodbye to low gas prices

Hello to walking
Hello to making new friends
Hello to cooking healthy
Hello to Spring

Hello  Hello Hello

Weather

Weather effects how we begin our day and end our day. Rain is actually good luck. On my second marriage it was raining and I was worried how that would effect the marriage and the celebration afterwards. It made the situation more cozy and the marriage lasted 31 plus years. It would still be going had my husband not died of cancer. He was warm, loving good man. And he helped build my confidence in my many facets of experiences with his urging do it. Marriage will be another posting since I have had two and not looking for any more marriages. The positive though of my first marriage is that I was young,we did many things that I probably would never do again  and my son Keith was part of that marriage. My second marriage - 2 years later  resulted in my stepsons Jay and Chad. I have always felt 3 was  a good number but have since learned that death comes in 3's.  I am going to try hard to break that myth. When I do reach that level of discussing marriage- my first marriage was in 1969 and my second marriage was in 1979. It was a cycle I assume  or just Ms. Fate playing with my life.

Snow is beautiful but the worse to drive in. I can only see the advantage of having snow and ice that there is no school for children, gardening stops and cleaning the basement and other useless chores begin. Driving to work in black ice is dangerous and there no rush involved. Avoid crashing into cars and digging your car out of the snow. If you have another opinion of snow let me know.  I would like to hear what you might think Snow or any other post. Your opinion matters. Laugh out Loud.
I love spring because of the beauty of all growing  and beauty. Spring tulips and flowers are what makes a happy day for me.With spring comes summer and I like hot. I come from Florida and grew up with more warm than cold.  Sunbathing, walking outside and breathing the warmth of the season. Living in the midwest seems there is more gloom than bloom. I own more cold weather clothes than warm weather clothes.

Fall is beautiful  with trees changing colors. It is also the spring planting season for flower bulbs and tree trimming and grass seeding and much more. This is known as Autumn but for me it represents even more because I have a  niece  called Autumn although her sister isn't April or March or even Spring. Autumn was born  in the Autumn and Odessa was born in the Spring. My nieces and nephews will be another chapter in my many adventures in life. With fall comes leaves that fall  everywhere and are so much work to clean up.Positive on this spin is that I love my wood burning  fire place(it's indoor and in my great roomwhich isn't that great) is quite relaxing and gives great comfort. We have wind, ice and cold during those fireplace evenings.

I am visting Alexandria,Virginia this week.History everywhere. The Civil War ended in Virginia. There so many different old buildings born several  centuries before I was born .Not that I am that young but I am that experienced  it would seem since I work in a young environement with about 200 employees. I don't know everyone's name but that flaw I am working on. Looking forward to your opinions about these writings which I am sharing with you.
